What is masculinity? Ask ten men and you'll get ten vague, conflicting answers. Unlike any book of its kind, The Way of Men offers a simple, straightforward answer - without getting bogged down in religion, morality, or politics. It's a guide for understanding who men have been and the challenges men face today. The Way of Men captures the silent, stifling rage of men everywhere who find themselves at odds with the overregulated, overcivilized, politically correct modern world.
An updated edition of the blockbuster best-selling leadership book that took America and the world by storm, two US Navy SEAL officers who led the most highly decorated special operations unit of the Iraq War demonstrate how to apply powerful leadership principles from the battlefield to business and life.
This audiobook is about luck, or more precisely, how we perceive and deal with luck in life and business. It is already a landmark work, and its title has entered our vocabulary. In its second edition, Fooled by Randomness is now a cornerstone for anyone interested in random outcomes. Robert Glover has dubbed the "Nice Guy Syndrome" trying too hard to please others while neglecting one's own needs, thus causing unhappiness and resentfulness. Rollo Tomassi is one of the leading voices in the globally growing, male-focused online consortium known as the "Manosphere". Tomassi explains and outlines the principles of intergender social dynamics and foundational reasoning behind them.

I have been a avid weight trainer for nearly two decades now. However, after years of experience, articles read, and advice from others experienced lifters; Mark Rippetoe has explained more valuable information in his first two chapters than I have acquired in my years in the gym.
It's very extensive. Show More Show Less. Reviews There are no reviews yet. The transition to light squat days and weighted chin-ups and pull-ups can happen at different times. Now that I've sampled these facts for myself I no longer hate the gym, because every time I go there I am slightly stronger than I was when I left it the last time and I have the numbers in my diary to prove it. Many beginners approach their specific warm-ups the wrong way, doing far too many reps and fatiguing themselves before the work sets take place. Full Name Comment goes here.
I will listen to this book at least four more times before I start the program, due to the information overload I have recieved. Great book! Mark is a very intelligent and experienced lifter. I gave 4-star for overall because this audiobook REALLY needs a pdf for some visual understanding of the positions and postures. The explanations are thorugh but people really do need to see some visual representation to fully grasp it.
I found myself referencing Mark on YouTube almost daily while going through the book.
In either case, I would highly recommend it. The best Strength Text Book of all times!
Excellent content, clear narration. Nothing less from Rip! Coach Rippetoe does an amazing job organizing and presenting a logical conceptualization on the importance of strength for the purposes of performance and health.
